Schools during Pandemic - A Practical Guideline for General Education Institutions

A practical interdisciplinary guideline for general education institutions has been developed by World Vision Georgia's experts to support the education process during pandemic. The document was created in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and in consultation with the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.

The guideline was prepared in accordance with all recommendations provided by the Government of Georgia and covers the following topics:

  • Health recommendations for general education institutions;
  • Student rights based approach in schools;
  • Organizing the educational process in schools;
  • School curriculum;
  • Educational resources;
  • Supporting school staff and teachers;
  • Quality management, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Wellbeing during COVID 19 pandemic;
  • Recommendations for organizing the learning process of students with special educational needs.

The guideline was translated into Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian languages by World Vision Georgia with the financial support of United Nations in Georgia.
