Terms of Service
 

These Terms of Service together with Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as the “Terms”) regulate your use of our web-site www.worldvision.ge and in general, your relationship with World Vision Georgia. By registering on our website, you express your consent to the provisions outlined in this agreement.

Article 1: Definitions

  • WVG – World Vision Georgia supports strengthening of the child welfare system and creating a healthy and active society for children that is inclusive, tolerant and provides equal opportunities for all.  
  • Programs of WVG: The programs implemented by World Vision Georgia is mainly focused on Child Protection and Welfare, Youth empowerment, Early Childhood Development, Community Engagement, Livelihoods and Economic Empowerment. For more information, visit: www.worldvision.ge; World Vision Georgia has been working on the issue of children working and living in the streets for several years already. Each year, World Vision Georgia’s 3 Day Care Centers/Shelters (2 in Tbilisi 1 in Kutaisi) provide vulnerable children with medical, nutritional and psychological support. The long-term goal of the Centre is to help these children turn their lives around and enable them to enter formal education – improving their chances for a better future.
  • You – refers to the donor who comes and registers on our portal to donate funds
  • Registration – procedure defined under this agreement requested/ necessary to donate
  • The general aim of donation – to fulfill the gap of funding, contribute to the proper functioning of the centers that create family atmosphere for children, ensure rehabilitation and future development.

Article 2: Subject of the Agreement

After your registration on the portal, WVG will allow you to access your –profile to make donation. The relationship between you and WVG will be regulated by this term of Service and Privacy Policy. Therefore, please make sure that you are aware of the policy to ensure that you are comfortable with how WVG will process your personal data before you donate. By agreeing to these terms, you are also agreeing to the way we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Article 3: Creating your page

If you wish to support vulnerable children living in the Day Care Centers/Shelters, you fill simple registration form on the website by email or Facebook account. Please note, after registration you have your own account/profile where you see the information about your donations.

Article 4: Availability of Your Page

WVG will take reasonable efforts to ensure a continuous service on website for its users, but reserves the right to suspend or cease operation of all or any part at any time without prior notice. Access to the website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, and maintenance.

Article 5: Donating

5.1 During registration you can select ANONYMOUS which means that you don’t want to share your information externally, accordingly your photo/information will not be placed on our website in the section of INDIVIDUAL DONORS.
5.2 You are able to support children once or regularly, so while registration you select ONE TIME or MONTHLY donations. You can donate any amount from 1 GEL. 
5.3 You can add your Card to the account and Bank will cut monthly payments in the first days of month. If your bank account does not hold sufficient funds or your bank card has expired, the system will keep trying (3 times) to deduct the amount during the following 10 days.
5.4 If you are small business, corporation or simply organization who wants to support vulnerable children with cash or in-kind donations, you are more than welcome to contact us by email: info@worldvision.ge

Article 6:  Use of Donations

The received donations are tailored to meet the needs of vulnerable children living in the Day Care Services/Shelters, such as basic needs of children (food, clothes, hygiene items, school, educational and development-oriented materials, classes, information-educational sessions, psycho-social development and rehabilitation-oriented activities, art therapy, handicraft, individual and group therapy, spiritual development.)

Article 7: Safety

You will only have to enter the card details once; the information will be stored securely on a TBC Bank protected server and we won't have access to it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, and it is fully your responsibility.

Article 8: Cancelation and Amendments of Your Page

You can always login your profile and cancel donations any time by deleting Card from your account. If you want to change the amount, simply enter a new amount in the Monthly Donation field. Starting 1st of next month, the new amount will be charged automatically.

Article 9: Final Provisions

9.1 WVG may amend this term of service from time to time. The renewed version of this agreement will be posted on our website. The latest version of these Terms of Agreement will govern any future usage by you of your page.
9.2 By registering on the website, you express your consent that the law of Georgia will govern any misunderstanding related to and arising from these Terms of Service and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Georgia.
