The Director of World Vision Georgia hold meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara

The Director of World Vision Georgia,  Eka Gurgenidze was invited to the meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Maya Khajishvili, to share information about World Vision’s Ukraine Crisis Response Actions in Georgia and support Ukrainian children and families living in Adjara region, contribute to access education and strengthen educational institutions.
 
During the meeting, the main directions of future cooperation were identified: supporting the educational process, building the capacity of teachers, providing psycho-social assistance, and strengthening Ukrainian students and their families.

World Vision, in the frames of the multi-country Global response program, continues to respond to the emerging needs of the Ukrainians living in Georgia with the financial support of Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH) and UNHCR.

Till now, more than 2,000 Ukrainians have benefited from diverse services provided by World Vision Georgia, and approximately 6,000 vulnerable Ukrainian citizens will receive need-based support in coming months.
