With the support of World Vision Georgia, a tool for external monitoring and evaluation of preschool institutions has been developed for municipalities
21 February

An external monitoring and evaluation tool for preschool institutions has been developed by World Vision Georgia Kakheti Regional Development Center in partnership with the target municipalities. On February 18-20, the document was presented to the representatives of the Mayor's Office, City Councils and preschool institutions. The tool was developed on the basis of the Law on Early and Preschool Education, sub-legislative normative acts and the resolutions of City Councils.

The tool aims to monitor compliance with authorization requirements to improve child-centered services, identify needs and evaluate achievements/challenges in the preschools and develop appropriate recommendations for further development.

At the meeting, representatives of the target municipalities developed an action plan for the evaluation process of preschool institutions.

World Vision Georgia in cooperation with local authorities implements a variety of programs in the field of early childhood education and development. More than 55 preschools and 1,000 parents/educators/caregivers are involved in World Vision Georgia programs so far.
