World Vision supports refugee-led organizations in Georgia through capacity building and organizational development. Meet Abdi and Ahmed—two friends and former refugees who founded Echo of Diversity, the first refugee-led organization (RLO) in Georgia.
Through their work, Abdi and Ahmed help fellow refugees integrate and thrive by leading youth sessions, creating videos on topics like transportation, grocery shopping, and youth services, and promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
Strengthening RLOs is one of the important component of the project "Community Mobilisation and Participation" implemented by World Vision Georgia in partnership with UNHCR.
