World Vision Georgia organized Child Protection and Prevention Program trainings for Municipal Social Workers, Monitoring Unit employees and Heads of Departments. Within the frames of the project Implementing the Child Rights Code in Georgia, 6 on the job trainings were held in total covering 163 participants from the following municipalities: Kvareli, Akhmeta, Telavi, Gurjaani, Tbilisi, Borjomi, Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Kharagauli, Zestafoni, Terjola, Baghdati, Khulo, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khelvachauri, Kobuleti, Batumi. Through the training module specialists advanced their competencies and knowledge in child protection and support issues, which they can successfully apply in practice. The sessions were conducted by invited Child Protection Expert Consultants: Etuka Tskhakaia and Eka Saneblidze. The project is carried out with the financial support of Austrian Development Cooperation.
