02 August

Iza is a young mother living in the village of Vazisubani, together with her two young children and husband. Her life has changed completely after she was involved in World Vision Georgia's "Ultra Poor Graduation Program” implemented by Kakheti Area Development Center. The program was launched in 2019 and aims to support families, to improve their economic situation and the quality of life through intensive preventive measures.

Prior to joining the program, Iza was mainly involved in household work. Even though Iza had an education in nursery, she had never worked with her profession.

World Vision Georgia first helped the family to meet its basic needs, after that it started working on the stability and development of the family. With the help of the organization, Iza went through the necessary preparation period, after which the vacancy of Nursing Assistant was found. Iza successfully passed the interview and now she works as a nurse assistant in one of the leading clinics of Telavi. In addition to fulfilling her childhood dream, Iza now has a monthly income to support family.

"I could never imagine that I would be able to work  in the field  I had been dreaming  since childhood. This organization suddenly appeared in my life and everything has changed. It gave me the opportunity to do what I always liked and most importantly to make it my source of income. "Once I got a job, I became more confident," - Iza said.

Iza is an active and realized woman today. In addition to being employed, she continues to care for professional development and takes a course in computer technology. Constantly attends trainings organized by World Vision Georgia Kakheti Regional Development Center and takes care of her and her family's development and well-being.
