Internet Safety Guide for Children and Adults

Today, World Vision Georgia held an online presentation "Internet Safety Guide for Children and Adults", which includes rules and recommendations for safe use of the Internet for both children and parents and teachers.

Timely identification of cyber threats for schoolchildren and making appropriate decisions has become of high importance while remote learning process during pandemic.

With the aim to raise awareness about Internet Safety among schoolchildren, their parents and teachers, World Vision Georgia Tbilisi Urban Development Program has created Internet Safety Guides for different age groups: 6-11 year olds, 12-18 year olds and parents / teachers.

The guide includes issues such as:

  • Cyberbullying
  • Game addiction
  • Code of conduct in the social media
  • Malware,
  • Internet fraud and others

The guide was created by Caucasus University Cyber Security specialists Maxim Iavich and Giorgi Iashvili, who have significant knowledge and experience in the field and in working with students.
