Advancing the professional education of key specialists working in child welfare sector
25 June

With the support of the Austrian Development Agency, World Vision Georgia continues to advance the professional education of key specialists, whose work is essential for ensuring the well-being of children in the country.

On June 16-18, 2024, World Vision Georgia organised academic writing training for the monitoring and inspection staff of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The 3-day course included both theoretical and practical components, along with individual and group work and covered several themes:

  • Basic principles and elements of functional writing
  • Spelling rules
  • Document analysis
  • Source credibility
  • Interviewing

Through lifelong learning and training programs, we aim to enhance the specialists' capacities, enabling them to fulfil their duties effectively and with quality.

The training was conducted within the project "Implementing the Code on The Right of The Child in Georgia" implemented by World Vision Georgia with financial support of Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
